In the pedigree of Giljandro we find some of the best that European breeding has to offer. Father Orlando has been very popular in the Swedish breeding and has left several promising sport horses. He competed himself at the highest international level together with Dirk Demeersman and is now continuing his career in Canada. Also Giljandro’s grandfather, the legendary Clinton, competed together with Dirk Demeersman. Together they won several international Grand Prix victories and competed at the Olympic Games in Athene in 2004 and the WEG in Aachen 2006. The motherline of Giljandro is also very interesting. Mother Viljana is a full sister of the approved stallion Clarin and grandmother Ilja is also the mother of Niljarco (by Darco) who was a successful international Grand Prix horse under Ludo Phillipaerts. |
